She has incredible knowledge, patience, and a sense of humor that came out in almost everything that we did together. Her love for music was infectious to me. I actually enjoyed learning about the more difficult subjects (like atonal music of the 20th century) because she was so enthusiastic to teach and guide us through those difficult waters. She was always the first one in, and last one out of either the music or theatre building when she was teaching and music directing.
